Double bill of martial arts action thrillers starring Cynthia Rothrock as the eponymous character. In 'China O'Brien' (1990) police officer Lori 'China' O'Brien resigns from the force after she is involved in the accidental death of a young boy. Upon returning to her hometown of Beaver Creek in Utah where her father John (David Blackwell) is the sheriff, she discovers that local crime boss Edwin Sommers (Steven Kerby) is attempting to take over the town using violence and intimidation.
When her father is murdered, China decides to run for sheriff and take a stand against Sommers. In 'China O'Brien II' (1990) the safety of Beaver Creek is jeopardised once again when fugitive drug lord Charlie Baskin (Harlow Marks) comes to town seeking revenge against a former associate who testified against him. When his gang begins terrorising the townsfolk, Sheriff China O'Brien and her deputies vow to put an end to their activities.
