Controversial BBC Halloween special from 1992. A fully-scripted drama which imitated the format of a live television broadcast taking place inside a haunted house, the show convinced many frightened viewers of its own reality and prompted a string of complaints. The hoax is made all the more convincing thanks to its use of well-known TV presenters Michael Parkinson, Sarah Greene, Mike Smith and Craig Charles.
