Crumb - The Criterion Collection

Terry Zwigoff directs this documentary chronicling the life and work of underground cartoonist Robert Crumb. As Zwigoff explores Crumb's inspirations and the effect that growing up in a dysfunctional family had on his work, he also considers the controversy surrounding some of Crumb's depictions of women and African Americans. Interviews with Crumb and his friends, family, contemporaries and critics are featured.
